TiVo box popping noises....been going on long time just figured out it's the box!

TiVo box had since 2019. Popping nosies when on and on stand by just figured out it's the box as disappear when turned off at plug (I've been silently blaming neighbors for years) it's not so loud it's unwatchable any help? Virgin media is impossible to contact just keeps linking to service tool which is not the problem

All tivos make a drumming tapping noise, its normal

Also is this a TiVo or a V6? Referred to TiVo but posted in the V6 board.

Could just be the cooling fan at the back getting gunged up. Have a run round it with the vacuum cleaner & it might improve things.

Are you sure the noise is coming from the box rather than the power brick?

I am sorry to hear of the sound issues, that doesn't sound good. Have you followed the advice from the community and if so, has things been sorted? If not, can you put a video of it happening so we can get a better idea what's happening and we'll assist further.
