TiVo V6 not working

since this morning our TV box in the living room has not worked. It powers on and displays the welcome screen, then turns off and comes back on to the starting up screen. It will stay on the starting up screen for a while, then switches off again. Shortly after it comes back on to the starting up screen. I assume the box has a fault as I have tried the box we have upstairs and it works fine. Tried to call Virgin but gave up after 59 minutes on hold.

have you tried switch boxes to see if its a fault in  the box or in the  cable/connections

Welcome to the forums and for your first post - sorry to understand you were having some issues with your box last week and had some issues contacting us about this when you called.
