TiVo 6 box issues

My recent recordings  I programmed onto my TiVo 6 box 

on replay

stop, break-up run slowly and are pixelated 

for example can’t watch Endeavour on My recordings but can via ITVX

Do you have any issues with live TV? That will prove whether the incoming signal is the problem.

If not, try pausing a live channel for a short time and watch delayed. That also uses your HDD just like a recording - and will be a good pointer of hard drive problems.

ITV-X is just a streaming app so this at least proves that your video output/HDMI is not the cause.

I have just done that

Paused alive channel and watched delayed

same problem Stuttering picture / picture broken up and pixelated

Your V6 has a failing hard drive, which will need a tech visit to replace 

Service faults can be reported by the usual means - either calling in for an immediate response, or waiting on this forum a few days for VM staff to pickup.
