This Channel Is Not Authorised

Hi there,

I have had my box unplugged for a little bit of time whilst I move things around in the room.  Once plugging everything back in however, regardless of what channel I go to, I get the following message:

"This Channel is not authorised.
Contact Virgin Media at 150 from your Virgin Media home phone or mobile"

Is there anything I can do apart from call support as I don't really want to be stuck in a call queue for ages 😞

Is the internet connection on the box up & running?

Go through the Help pages on "missing channels" & also the network section of the settings menu & force a connection to the VM network. If this fails you have no option but to phone CS & get the box re-authorised.

Yeah the internet connection is up and running.

I did just try and force a connection to VM, so it looks like I will have to get on a call with them. Should probably go and find a phone to plug in then 😄

You can also use 0345 4541111 from any other network. Landline rates.

I am sorry to hear you have had some problems with the TV since plugging the equipment back in.

 

I just wanted to reach out and check if you have been able to speak to the team since your last post?
