TV set top box stuck in a loop

Hello,

I have this issue https://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Virgin-TV-V6/Tivo-V6-TV-Boot-Loop/m-p/4981705

Loops between welcome screen and starting...tried rebooting the set top box and hub but no joy.

Make sure your Ethernet cable is connected, and the co-ax is finger tight, but...

Any TV box that won't bootup has a fault, there's 2 ways you can report that fault.

1: Call in - 150 from a VM phone or 0345 4541111 from any other phone

2: Wait on this forum where a VM staff member should pick this post up in a day or so.

Thankyou for posting on here.

Sorry to hear about the box being stuck on a start up loop.

Can I please ask if this is still happening.

If so can you please try a factory reset on the box 

"you will lose any recorded shows though"

Turn off with the rocker switch at the back of the box

Hold the + and standby buttons together and then turn the box on and wait till you see the welcome screen. Then let go of the buttons.

Then see if that helps.

I can't get this factory reset to work, is there an online manual or something to check this?

This is now resolved after engineer visit and replacing the V6 box.
