My V6 box keeps freezing on all recorded programmes it is driving us insane and can't get through to customer care as per usual.

Is this problem happening on live TV viewing, or only recorded programmes? How about live TV watching that you pause and then watch "delayed"?

Hi it does exactly the same thing if you've pause it, it freezes.
It started off doing it occasionally and no does it all the time. We have done all the reboots and turning it off for 10-minutes but it just does it again.
As I suspected, but didn't want to assume.
That's indicative of a problem with the box's hard drive - it will only get worse and eventually become terminal.
Call VM (150 from a landline, 0345 4541111 otherwise), and follow the options for "I have a fault with my TV service" to report your failed box, and arrange a replacement.
I will do but having been a customer of Virgin Media for long time the customer service departments are slow at best.
Getting through to them at the moment is also a nightmare.
They're really do need to improve in this area.
