"Upgraded" my package earlier this week due to it coming to end of contract. Specifically asked and was told by the overseas advisor that my package would be "exactly as it was but with Gigabit upgrade" I specifically asked if it included the TNT Sports channels due to the issues I've seen, was categorically told it does.
Had my new router arrive today. Installed and then connected my V6 to the new Wifi SSID at halftime of United v Burnley.
Suddenly all the TNT Channels now show as not being subscribed (I'm allowed to subscribe except i can't as it doesn't go through on the box and the phone lines are closed)
What an absolute **bleep**show of a service. Going to cancel first thing in the morning.
EDIT: Managed to get the channel to activate through the box, at the low low price of £120pm, needless to say I will absolutely be cancelling the lot tomorrow. VM Can removed
[MOD EDIT: Inappropriate language removed, please review the Forum Guidelines]

Sadly, the change of ownership of the former BT Sports means these channels are no longer bundled with the current TV packages. As of Sept 1 the Maxit TV package, which has the channels as standard, becomes a legacy package. ANY change to your account will trigger legacy items being replaced with their current equivalent. The current equivalent of Maxit TV is Mega TV, which does not include the TNT Sports channels as standard.

Since Sept 1st, no VM TV packages include TNT Sports which is now a premium extra regardless - so as part of your package change, you have been moved from legacy Maxit (with inclusive TNT-Sports) to current Maxit (without)
Activating the new equipment has clearly triggered the billing side of this package.
Sounds like you need to use statutory cooling off to back-out your entire package change, and renegotiate from scratch.

Thanks for both replies. Shame that VM allows miss-selling from their agents. Not had chance yet with the weekend and work but will be calling tomorrow to cancel everything.

Hi Ezzy 👋
Thanks for posting, and welcome back to the Forums.
I'm sorry to hear about this experience when changing your package. As mentioned by japitts and nodrogd, as the Maxit TV package is now a legacy product, any new packages would be moved to Mega TV which doesn't include TNT Sports. However, I appreciate the frustration this has caused, as you were initially advised the package would remain the same.
I've fed this back internally, to ensure we can prevent this from happening in the future. I can also see that you've spoken with our team since your post, and have been able to resolve this issue. Please do let us know if you need anything else, and we'll be more than happy to assist.
Thanks,
