I have had two engineer visits, in the last week for sound and picture freezing problems.
The first chap changed my box and hoped all would be okay an hour after him leaving the problems were back and I had to book another engineer.
The second chap came yesterday he was very good and replaced the box with the 1tb version and it seemed okay, the picture problem appears to have been cured but the intermittent sound distortion has been more frequent, see todays log.
11am BBC1 for 10mins
12.50pm ITV for 7mins
1.47pm BBC2 for 10mins
4.40pm BBC1 for 8mins
7.05pm BBC1 for 8mins
As you can see the pattern seems to re-occur approximately every two hours.
If left it appears to resolve itself and go back to normal after 7 to 10 mins.
Hi you won't speak with an engineer unless he is in your property, unfortunately you have to make do with call centre people a great deal of whom have very little technical knowledge, we all live in hope. Regards Micky
