Sound out of sync with BBC programmes

I am also having an issue with the sound and picture being out of sync, it only seems to affect BBC 1 and BBC 2 if I turn the channel to ITV and back to the BBC it seems ok for a while.  I am sure this only started happening after the last software update in 2021 . An engineer visited on the 19.03.22 and checked everything he carried out a hard reboot setting the box back to factory settings and also replaced some sort of resistor in the connector box that enters the house as it was obsolete. He agreed the sound was out of sync and he had not come across this before.  All seemed o/k for a day then on Sunday it was back to being out of sync surely there is a bug in the last software download, I have been a customer for a long time and have never experienced this issue before

Hi @Rob555

It's a setting on theV6 box.

Change the V6 settings by pressing HOME on the rermote, then the following :-

Help & Settings > Settings> Audio> Dolby Digital> Dolby Digital to PCM

Have you tried setting the V6 to output PCM instead of Dolby Digital?

Hi @Rob555

Welcome to our Community Help Forum 🙂

Thank you for making this post regarding the sound sync issues you are experiencing, I'm sorry to hear the sound and picture are out of sync when you're watching BBC 1 and 2. That is not ideal.

How did you get on with changing the settings as @newapollo advised? Are you still experiencing the issue?

Kind regards,

Serena

Hi Serena and others

Seems o/k at the moment but I will give it a few more days to see if it occurs again

Glad to hear this @Rob555!
