Sky Ondemand Not Working

For the past 2 weeks I have been trying to watch an episode of a TV series using On Demand.  The show was originally on sky one the series is still showing but I missed the first few episodes.

 

My V6 box says the show is available and I am subscribed to be able to watch it.  I can select the show and amazingly I can watch the adverts before the show is due to start but then the playback freezes and nothing happens.  If I try to fast forward and play again I get a message saying this show is temporarily unavailable and I should check the useless tells me nothing ondemand help section or equally useless service status page the error code is 604 which according to the virgin website isn't an error code (its on your error message)

 

I have tried rebooting both my hub and my v6 box multiple times to no avail.  What is this issue and when will it be fixed?
