Hi,

I want to record the 7pm version of the Channel 4 News.

However, the series link is recording the 11.25am channel 4 news program.

How can I avoid recording the 11.25am program?

Use a manual recording which can be recurring.

Just tested this on my V6, and the result is as I suspected.

The SL is recording all schedule episodes of C4 news, and it's not timeslot specific. All TiVo & V6 SL's work this way.

You can either manually cancel the unwanted episodes, manually delete them after recording, or set individual manual recordings - whichever you'd prefer.
