Self install or engineer??

Ive decided to add tv to my existing broadband and ordered it today. The chap on the phone was adamant that it was an easy self install but i'm not sure what I plug the tv signal cable into?? Ive taken the cover of the virgin wall box and taken a pic. There are no sockets. The cable at the bottom is connected to the virgin router.

So if I plug the tv into the other end of one of those four coaxil cables what do I do with the end in this box??

Im baffled!! Do I need to phone back and insist on an engineer visit???

Yes.  You are not permitted to touch/alter any of the VM cables. The Customer Advisor was wrong.

Re: Self install or engineer??

You will be supplied with a splitter to allow connection of both broadband and TV at that location.

If you need the TV elsewhere, you need an engineer to fit a new co-ax.

Re: Self install or engineer??

Hi @leb37

Welcome to our Community Help Forum 🙂

Thank you for making your first post regarding installing your new TV services.

I've taken a look at your account and can see that a manned install has now been booked for you to get this resolved. Please do let us know how things go after your engineer visit 🙂

Best wishes,

Serena
