Second tv box

Does a second tv box need an outlet in the wall or a second hub to work?

The room I want the second box in doesn’t have a tv outlet or broadband hub would it still work ? Is there a way to connect it perhaps wireless with the tv box downstairs?

Re: Second tv box

Hi no you will need an engineer to come and install a coxial cable to connect with a second box, you can connect the hub (broadband) with WiFi if your signal is good, the engineer will hopefully know & maybe recomend a power booster for the WiFi signal if not.Regards Micky

Re: Second tv box

The coax cable will either have to run through the house or run along an exterior wall if there is suitable side access.
