Returned kit

I removed my tv service from my package a few weeks ago and promptly sent my box and other equipment back using the box provided over a week ago. Now I'm getting texts saying virgin media still haven't received it when the tracking info from yodel states it's been returned and I'll be charged in 9 days!

Can someone please advise as to what the hell is going on?

It can take VM several days to process a return and update your account.  Staff response here suggests up to 10 working days for the whole process:
