I have a v6 box connected to a Yamaha surround receiver and on to a dvi connected screen, every time these units are out into standby the v6 drops its output resolution to 576, reset the output to 1080 and its fine until powered down again

What's the model numbers of these kit?
Does the same thing happen if you connect your V6 to your TV directly?

Isn't DVI outdated technology? You will be better off with a monitor with an HDMI input.
