Replacement remote control required


So after completing all the trouble shooters to try and get my remote working again properly (even though I knew it wouldn’t help) I saw online that I needed to phone up to get a replacement. So yesterday I called up followed all the options and was eventually put in to a queue to speak to someone - after being on hold for 22minutes the phone line just cleared, I attempted this twice and the same happened both times. I know phone lines are busy but I really need a new remote as most of the buttons have stopped working on mine and although Iv downloaded the app so I can change channels on my phone with 3 children in the house this isn’t a solution. 

can someone please help me with a more effective way to get a replacement?

If you are struggling to contact them on the phone then VM are recommending you send a text to 07533 051809 describing the issue and you should get a response, but it may take a day or two at present. This is a text only service, it does not support voice calls.

Alternatively you can wait for one of the forum team to get to this thread and they should be able to order a new remote for you.  They may also take a day or two to get here.
