Recently I have had to sign into iPlayer each time I want to use it through my V6 box.  I don’t have to do this from any other device that I watch iPlayer on, including accessing it through the Smart TV function of my television.  Why is the V6 box making me do this?

Signing in, is a BBC-function, but are you saying that after signing in once that you have to do so again on subsequent occasions?

Yes, every time I go into it via the V6 box, even though the message I get after I’ve signed in says I won’t have to sign in again.  I don’t have to when I’m accessing it via a different device, so don’t think it’s an issue with my account.

Sorry to hear this is happening. I can imagine it must be annoying. 

Are you accessing the App directly to watch the content or are you going via the catch up on the Guide?
