I am very sorry to hear you're having some issues with your remote and the TV. Have you followed the instructions in the link that @japitts provided earlier?
If you believe that the problem is that the remote is faulty, please follow these instructions and let us know how you get on.

Tried online resets doesn't work, engineer out tomorrow.

I doubt the issue is fixable, @mikeshepherd52 wants his new Samsung TV remote to operate his V6 the issue is not that the V6 remote doesn't operate the TV.
