Recordings on BOTH boxes pixelating and jumping

Recently recordings on BOTH V6 boxes are pixelating and jumping making the programme unwatchable. We have run through all the tests & re-boots but showing no probs.

Re: Recordings on BOTH boxes pixelating and jumping

Is live TV viewing on the same channels, ok?

How about when you pause live TV or rewind it?

This is how you'll differentiate between TV signal issues and hard drive problems.

Re: Recordings on BOTH boxes pixelating and jumping

If live TV is affected, this would tend to indicate signal issues. Is this on any particular channel(s)?

If you only get issues when you pause/rewind or are watching recordings, this is more likely to be hard drive related.

Not quite sure what channels, but can't be both hard drives I would've thought. I will persevere & if it persists I will ring virgin, Thanx for your input. 👍
