I had poor picture quality when I connected V6 box to my new Panasonic tv. Virgin engineer came, found no problem with box, but went to Restore Factory Settings on my tv. Problem solved!

I've moved this post to a new thread, @dwager was responding to a pixellation query for which this fix wasn't correct.
It's useful to know though... thanks for posting your solution, but a TV settings issue would tend to affect all channels and not specific/individual ones.
