There was a power cut and the engineer had to cut off my power supply ever since my v6 box won’t work. It gets to the welcome and then start up screen then a message of no signal? I have tried to reboot it and also using the hold the + and power button to reset and still doing the same? Any ideas

I know you said that you used the hold the + and power button to reset, but did you try teh full method below?
Turn off the V6 at switch; then on the V6 box hold down both the power button and the +button at the same time.
Then turn on the V6 again whilst keeping hold of those buttons for a further 30 seconds.
The box should reboot, the power button will turn blue, and it fingers crossed it will reset and boot up normally.
If that fails you will need to have the box replaced.
You should call 150 from a Virgin landline or mobile, or 0345 454 1111, option 2 (Faults)
When calling Faults you will hear the automated response asking you to press 1 for the link to online support etc
Ignore all the options and don't press any buttons then you should be placed into a queue and an agent should pick up the phone and book the tech for you.
Or wait a day or two and a member of the Forum Team should pick this up for you and arrange a tech visit
