My pause TV is also affected. Just seemed to start today ,old recordings seem ok.always something.
Assuming your live TV is ok (you've not said) then I'd recommend you call Virgin to report what would likely be a HDD issue.
It should be rectified by a replacement box.

Box rebooted itself earlier on today as well . Ok will call tech ,cheers
I restarted the box manually last night with the second option clear all thumb ratings and now pause TV and recordings are fine and back to normal ,weird ?
