Just found this post as I have the same issues on my V6 box also and have done for a while. So clearly not a unique problem to your box. 

So definitely seems like this could be some kind of glitch/bug.

I’m having the same issue as the original poster I pressed ‘reply’ to, Netflix won’t resume after pausing it.

Not sure why it’s appeared on a new thread when I pressed reply?

The thread you replied to was quite old, and it's often better - in the long run - to explain the issues you're having in a new post. By all means link to the old post in yours.

With that in mind, what are the issues you're having? Is this inability to resume from pause, specific to any particular title?

Does it make any difference whether you load that programme via the app, versus doing it from the V6 UI directly?
