Hi

I'm having the exact same problem. I called Virgin today and was told my services would be activated and to wait an hour...7 hours later and I still have no TV channels. I'm hesitant to call again due to the wait times, but I'm subscribed to the bigger bundle, so only having 5 basic tv channels is very annoying. Any help would be appreciated.

Unfortunately you will have to phone in again to get the box activated. If they can't do it over the phone, they will either send an Enginrer to investigate or send you another box.
