Hi all,

I have upgraded my package to have sky sports and sky cinema and was advised this has been processed and completed.

I have sky cinema and sky sports on my virgin tv go app but not on my virgin box. I have powered down my box and restarted it and nothing has changed. I have also updated all contents via virgin media contents but still no channels have been updated. 

I was wondering how long is the process

How long does a package upgrade take to activate?

Firstly which TV box do you have... if you're not sure, check here - you've referred to "Virgin Media contents" which makes me think you've not got a TiVo/V6?

How did you do this upgrade... it sounds like you did it online but have had the email confirmation?

I have the V6 box. I also originally ordered it online but then followed it up this morning via a call.

In that case, follow Home > Help & Settings > Help > TV Care > I'm missing some channels

This normally refreshes your EPG with updates to your package.

Sky Sports is in HD from channels 501-510, and SD from 511-520

You either need to be paying the HD supplement, or checking the SD channels.
