Hi my mum has just got a replacement TiVo box all installed ok until she tried to watch shows on channel 4 and 5 on catch up and it is say unsubscribed but she is subscribed. Have been trying to get through to VM not successful as yet. Thanks
Are you sure your Mum has had a TiVo delivered? They've not been replaced since several months now, and I suspect she's probably had a V6 installed. Can you check? https://www.virginmedia.com/care/tv-fault/which-tv-box
The internet connectivity does differ between the TiVo & V6, and this may be part of the problem.

Sorry to hear your Mum is having issues with her TV box.
I've had a look from this end and can see that the equipment was activated today, so this may be why you were having issues.
