I've also been having an issue with 4k.
I'm getting a blue screen that takes up half the width of the TV.
I had an update on my Phillips Ambilight so can't work out of it's the TV or Virgin.
For issues that are probably "individual" to you (as opposed to wider network issues) it's often better to start your own post and avoid confusing the replies.
Have you tried another HDMI lead & port to prove those? Do other devices connected to your TV have the same problem? Have you tried restarting your V6?

The issues sounded very similar to the other person. Especially with the fact that HD worked but 4k didn't.
Hence I was looking to see if there were further similarities such as TV type.
Fair enough - in that case, my apologies.
It sounded like you were wanting help with - what sounded potentially like - an individual potential HDMI box/cabling fault.

It would be useful to know what diagnosis you have done already.
Rebooted TV, rebooted V+ box, changed hdmi, scanned for which display settings the V+ box would display to the TV. (Would only find 1080). Checked for software updates, checked system logs for errors
Luckily whatever was the issue has righted itself.
