Random Prime shows stuttering

Hi, when I use Amazon Prime on my TiVo box, some shows will stutter and freeze throughout and be unwatchable, but most others are fine. Popular shows like rings of power are fine, but I tried to watch catfish and final destination 3 and both are impossible to watch. This only happens on prime, Netflix, YouTube etc are all fine. And I’ve watched the same show at the exact same time on my pc and phone and both are fine again, ruling out my internet or the prime service. I have reset my TiVo box, changed network to a mobile hotspot, and reset my original router and reconnected but none of this has solved the problem. Any help or suggestions please? Is this a TiVo box issue?

Hi @jinha

I've moved your post from the TV on the go section section to the V6 forum.

You are having problems with Amazon prime, however you can't access that through the TVGO app.

Also you are mentioning the Tivo box, but Amazon prime isn't available to the older Tivo box.

Have you tried using a different HDMI cable that is high speed (HDCP2.2) compliant ?

Also go into the V6 settings and press Home  > Help & Settings >  Settings > Video Output > Video Output Format

Either go to Auto detect to run a test of your TV’s display options. It will then ask you to confirm the new display selection  or choose  Test Formats to run a quick test on the Virgin TV V6 box and follow the onscreen guides.

You may get better results if it's set to 1080p.

Just tried Final Destination 3, worked well, so problem is probably the box or network.

Hi jinha,

Welcome to the Community and thank you for posting.

I am sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with your Amazon Prime service on the set top box.

Can you please confirm if your box is connected to the Hub via WiFi or Ethernet?

Thanks,

Nat
