Signed into my Amazon account and Prime TV loaded up ok.
However when i select any title it comes back with playback error and contact Amazon/videohelp !
Signed out and signed back in, but the same issue remain.
Contacted Amazon who want the MAC address, delete and reset my device which i am not prepared to do.
We’re you trying to play a replay of a tennis match by any chance? If so, there’s a known issue with this on V6 (and the BT TV box). If your TV has its own app for Prime Video, it will likely work.
If it’s not tennis, which program are you trying to watch? I’ll see if I have the same problem on my V6.

All programmes are affected Good Omens, Grand Tour plus the Tennis.
Amazon Support want me reset my TiVo and ensure I am on the latest firmware which I am sure I have no control over this.
It would certainly be worth resetting your V6 through the menu system - it may make a difference.
Would this mean I would loose all my recordings on my Drive ?
Also is the reset option in the settings?
Home > Help & Settings > Clear or Reset TiVo box > Restart the TiVo box >
This restarts the V6, just like switching it off then on, no deleting any of your recordings, etc.
I have reset my box and also signed out and back in to the V6 Prime App! No joy!
Finally got through to VM tech department this morning! Have been told they looked at forums here and realise it’s an issue and have escalated the problem!

yep when i play prime on the tivo box the box wheel turns and turns then my tv says ------- power box on
guess what my box is on
tried to reset tivo but to no avail .
works on my fire stick tho . c'mon virgin get your act together
