Poor Picture Quality

Does anyone know why Virgin TV quality seems dull and washed out?

Just switched from Sky TV and the quality difference is very noticeable! Its like watching SD quality on all the HD channels, even BT 4K doesn't look great! Ive tried all the output settings on the box and nothing seems to work. Could this be a box fault or faulty lines?

Re: Poor Picture Quality

It sounds like something's not right with your video output settings.

You say you've tried all the settings, but not actually specified what your video output is set to?

Some 4K UHD TVs are better at upscaling from 1080 > 2160 themselves, and you can get good results by the V6 outputting 1080. Other models not so, and you're better having a 2160 output. One size doesn't fit all, and experimenting often helps.

Have you tried another HDMI cable? What make & model of TV do you have?

Re: Poor Picture Quality

Ive tried all the settings including letting my TV do all the upscaling! Nothing works at all! Ive tried multiple HDMI’s including the ones used with my Sky and nothing works.

I have a LG OLED CX55 2020... Everything works just fine on it.

What do you think this could be?
