Pixellating recordings

Watching live TV is fine. However playback on some of the many recordings I have the picture stutters and pixellates, recordings from various channels. If I use catch up to watch any of these programs they run OK. Maybe a hard drive problem?

Try pausing live TV and watching it delayed by a short time - this is also a recording and uses the HDD in the same way.

If this also pixellates, you have good evidence of a hard drive problem.
