Pixelation on dark scenes

I get regular pixilation watching dark scenes. Basically rather than black it looks like graduated black/green/grey.

Using a Samsung UHD 4K Tv (2018). I've tried all the video/picture settings on the TV and V6 box and nothing seems to sort it.

Seems to happen on all channels and on catch up/netflix/prime. I do usually only watch HD broadcast channels

Any help appreciated

Re: Pixelation on dark scenes

I see this too but I’m fairly sure it is not a Virgin Media issue, rather a setting on the TV causing this.

Re: Pixelation on dark scenes

I would agree that pixellation is usually indicative of a signal fault, which would affect all pictures from any given channel and not just dark or bright scenes.
