Picture quality poor between ITV and ITV+1

Hi all

done a quick search but can't see anything that mentions the plus 1 channels- can anyone assist please?

Was just going to watch the rugby on ITV+1 but the picture quality is dire-heavily pixalated to a complete blur at times. Flicked back to ITV to check and that's fine...can anyone tell me why this is happening and if there's a fix?

Two possibilities here.

1: If you're describing picture pixellation, that's a fault and a reliable indicator of signal issues.

2: Picture quality: ITV1 is only carried in HD, the +1 variant only in SD. A difference in PQ should be expected.
