Renegotiated contract with Virgin. Contract says HD sky sports package included. Yes but Not HD. Rung and been told it’s not on package. Rang back and been told their mistake is on package needs activating. 12 hours later still not working. Going to cancel and go to the opposition if this isn’t sorted. Average wait for call to be answered 48 minutes!! Virgin - PM me!!
And whilst I sympathise with the call wait times, perhaps use speakerphone and get on with something else... or a forum team should pick this up in a few days. I'm not justifying the call queues (which I don't think can be justified) but just trying offer ways of dealing with them.
Surely after the new rights deal VM must be buying sky sports HD as standard. They should no longer be asking for a surcharge for Sky sports HD.
Only the commercial and marketing people in Sky & Virgin would know the details of the new rights deal, I suggest.
Whilst I agree there appears to currently be a disconnect somewhere between VM-advertising and VM-billing (which they need to address), surmising on what the wholesale agreement contains, is just that!!
