On demand services only work after a reboot.

On demand only works after a reboot. When running a check it says the Ethernet cable isn’t connected- it is. Phoned Virgin but the message stated that the call centre is closed due to Coronavirus. I’m not tech savvy and have no understanding of what I can do- other than the frequent reboot. 

Also, my handset only works when it feels like it.

Call centre is currently open as I just got through. Sounds like a new box is required
