Re: On Demand says upgrade

1: Which TV box do you havce? If you're not sure, check here

2: Which TV bundle are you on? "The full package" could mean various things - can you check on your "My Virgin Media" online account if you're not sure

2: What is it that you're trying to watch OnDemand, can you be specific?

Re: On Demand says upgrade

I have the V6 boxes,

my package is Maxit

and it was the Britney Spears documentary on sky documentaries. But also if I try to watch any on demand (like wrestling for the son) again it says the same thing.

Re: On Demand says upgrade

Great stuff...

1: Can you watch the Sky Documentaries channel? SD & HD would be useful to check - HD is only in Maxit so we want to see that channel confirmed as live (channel 277)

2: Can you check a few other OnDemand programmes from, say, ITV or C4 BoxSets & CatchUp. We're looking to establish whether you have a wider problem with OnDemand here. CatchUp programmes should be included in all packages, BoxSets are Maxit-only

Re: On Demand says upgrade

How about "CatchUp" programmes? Find a (non-BBC) programme from earlier in the week in the backwards-EPG (TV Guide), and choose "Watch from Catchup".

Also try following.... Home > Help & Settings > Help > TV Care > I'm missing some channels.

Re: On Demand says upgrade

I’ve tried many catch up channels and all them say I need to upgrade and I have now done the tv care advise and after 15 mins (which it says it takes to reset the channels) still no joy.

I assume if I call virgin they will be able to check why this doesn’t work?

many thanks for all your help

Hi have had a bill yet that has been paid, as it just maybe that once your first bill is paid on demand may work.

I think that's the best way to go, yes. Similar scenarios come up occasionally on here, and calls to VM-CS do usually resolve it. Which would suggest it's account-related.
