Non requested app charging!

I have just checked my 1st month billing and see that I have apparently accessed and bought an Interactive Game - Andreia Brazier at £3.99

I never ever purchase any interactive items nor films. Yet I have been charged for something that my wife nor I would use.

So how does your system allow for this to occur?

Re: Non requested app charging!

TiVo should prompt you if you are about to be charged for a purchase and a PIN is required.

Have you switched this off on your TiVo?

Hello Wasyl

Thanks for your post

Sorry to hear you have been charged £3.99 for an interactive game

Can you check from your remote control please, if you have a pin set up to use before purchases.

Just press

Enter 4 DIgit Pin
Check its on

Re: Non requested app charging!

Thank you for your reply.

The box is set-up for having to enter a pin for purchases.

I don't know, nor can I remember who created the PIN as it's not one I would have created.

But that doesn't help to overcome the fact that I have no knowledge as to when this Interactive game had the PIN used for its purchase.

I have checked that so called "GAME", it isn't a game, but a fitness program. Weeks 1&2; 5&6 and 7&8 have to be bought for £3.99, whereas weeks 3&4 are shown as "play this course". Why would anyone purchase part of a program and not the whole? Also why not start from weeks 1&2?
