No sound when i turn tivo box on

Over the past month or so, when I turn the TiVo box on (v6) there is a picture but no sound.  It's the same on all channels and recorded programmes . The Tv on its own works fine.

If I turn the TiVo box off and on again, it usually fixes the issue, but this process takes approx 10 minutes it's everytime.I

Any help gratefully received.

If restarting your V6 clears the problem for a while before it recurs, that lends towards a software issue - but.... have you tried another HDMI cable, and another HDMI port on your TV, to eliminate a fault there?

Really sorry about the issues faced, from checking our service I can't currently see any readings that would attribute to the issue, is it still occuring?
