No signal

Had new v6 installed in spare room. Worked when engineer installed but not since. Just "no signal" message. Checked connections and turned on and off. Eventually got through on phone to log problem but cut off by adviser. Can get Amazon prime and iPlayer on tv just no virgin media! Now waiting for call back but no call. Any suggestions?

No signal often means the TV is on the wrong source, 

 

Is the white light on the v6 and have you selected the correct source on the TV?

Yes it's on the original source and I have tried all of the other HDMI inputs too. The white light is on

If you've swapped HDMI and tried unplugging tv from mains there is no test left and it appears its a faulty box
