No remote

Hi,

Received my replacement Tivo V6 box today but the box had no remote inside.

I'm stuck with "Press ok to continue" but without a remote I can't progress on installation.

My old remote doesn't work, I've tried installing the mobile app to control device but as new box isn't currently registered on network it  still doesn't work.

 

Any way of fixing this rather than waiting another 3 days to receive a new remote...and peobably another tivo box with a remote inside?

Hold tv and clear on old remote untill green light flashes at top of the remote, then thumbs down 3 times then ok to reset the remote

Thanks for the reply.

 

Phoned VM and was sent a link to save me waiting on phone. Found another way by pressing + on set top box until white light came back on...holding INFO on remote until bleeping occurred. This linked my old remote to new TiVo.

 

May be helpful for anyone else in similar situation.
