New remote V6

The online support for remotes is pathetic. I was on hold for 20 minutes and it said to leave a mobile number.... anyway.... I just need a new remote sent out!? ASAP! Batteries and the link and pair thing isn’t working so I just need a new one. You think paying £70 a month would mean better service for support for older people.

Hi Trevor,

sorry to see you are having problems with setting up and using your remote.

 Have you tried this method to pair your remote?

Click on HOME > Help and Settings > Help > Set up Remote.  Follow instructions there it should give you a series of codes to try.  You can also put 0999 in place of the code and press channel up until the TV turns off, then press ok.

There is also a help section on pairing your remote TV Remote Guide 

If all that fails then you should speak to TV faults and they will send you a new one in the post.  Call  150 from your Virgin landline, or 0345 454 1111, but best to call at 8am to avoid call queues.

In the meantime you could download the TV Control app to use.
