New box, all cables snug and secure, loading channel list gets stuck at 33% and then gives the message in the post title.
Noticed several others have had the problem over the past year. Is there any client side fix or do you have to go through phone support (which I'm trying to avoid the tedium of)
Try rebooting the V6 please. If you still have the same error then you need to phone to get your box activated. 0800 953 9500.
You will need the box serial number, and your account and area number.
If that doesn't work then it looks like you need to speak to New accounts and Set Up for them to complete the setup and activation.
That would be options 1,1,1 and 4 if dialling 150 from a Virgin landline , or options 1,1,2 and 4 if dialling 0345 4541111 from any other phone
It's best to phone at 8am to avoid call queues.
