New V6 not working properly

New V6 box installed yesterday has not sound and keeps re-booting itself . Have follow all the suggestions given on the help but nothing . Have reset many times and reconnected all cables. 
my he old one was ok but now I cannot even use the old one as it won’t recognise it . 
I was told to wait for a technician call but they haven’t called.... any ideas ?  How long should I wait for the call?
