Network Availability C133

Hi,

I had Vodafone Gigafast broadband installed yesterday (my intention is to drop the Virgin 200Mbps service I already have), and since swapping all my devices (including the V6 box) over to the new network settings, I keep getting a Network Availability C133 error.. I've checked the boxes IP addresses are correct for the new router (picked up by DHCP), no problems there. The TV service is fine, it's just this error that keep showing. Testing the network connection from the box hangs on connecting to the point that I have to reboot it. Attempting to connect it to over wifi via the TV Control mobile app results in the box rebooting!

The main question I have is this - does the V6 rely on being connected to the Virgin broadband service only, or will it work on any broadband service? Or is there just a problem somewhere else?

Thanks,

Mike.

Re: Network Availability C133

Hi moggoly,

Thank you for getting in touch via the community.

I can confirm, you would need a Virgin Media broadband connection in order to use the V6 box.

Thanks,
