Netflix lip sync problems

Ever since we got our v6 boxes (X2) we have had lip sync problems, most noticeable when watching Netflix.

It's not always, but most of the time. Sometimes really really bad, sometimes just mildly annoying.

Spoken to Virgin about it before, done the reboot, speed test, blah blah blah

After a couple of years with these boxes I've just got used to it. But when I'm paying £120 a month for the service I'm getting sick of it now

Thank you for your post Irakniaws and sorry to hear you're having some trouble with your Tivo services.

 

Could we please confirm if this is happening with applications like Netflix specifically or is it with live TV, On Demand, Catch Up etc as well? 

 

Could we please also confirm if you've already gone through the below steps:

Home> Help&Settings> Settings> Network> Connect to Virgin Media Service Now

Yes I've tried all that.

It's mainly on demand services but most noticeable on Netflix. It does happen on love TV but not often

Hi lrakniaws,

 

Thanks for coming back to us. I am sorry for the service issues. The TV looks fine from the checks I've ran. However, we do need an engineer visit as there is an issue with the connection so this could be causing the issues, especially with the On Demand etc.
