Need signal put through to my new box

Had new box through today error s102 kept coming up rang virgin said need signal sending to box she was meant to ring me back at 5.30 today and still not rang and can’t get through to them fed up

Hi it sounds like the box needs activating call 0800 9539500 have your account number area code and serial number of the box to hand. Regards Micky

Thank you so much done that it worked then I tried to add sky sports now got another code and been told got to wait 24 hours and now got no tv at all

Oh my goodness why didn't you just wait and watch what you had working for a while, then add to your services then, did you not initially state you wanted sky sports not that it should make any difference but obviously as a new setup its seems to not want to work, the only thing to do is to persevere on the phone.
