Is the splitter contained inside the interior wall socket?

The interior wall box contains a safety isolator. The splitter would be fitted externally to the box. If the splitter was installed in the omnibox outside then a new entry point & isolator would be fitted at the new location.

Re: Multi room spliter.

Thanks nodrogd.  I'm having my services installed on Saturday and have two boxes and wanted to know how they split the cable. Expect they'll have to fit an external box somewhere on the outside wall.  Been trying to find a photo of the splitter and box.
