Modem cutting out and picture pixelating

Hi,

Been having this problem for the last month or so.

my modem keeps cutting out unexpectedly and needs to be switched off then on before it reconnects. 

Also, tv picture is pixilated occasionally and affects recorded programmes as well.

 I’ve tried all the switch off and turn on suggestions and also checked all connections.

Any ideas on how to fix?

From what you describe, it suggests that you may have a signal problem that you would be unlikely to be able resolve.

Your best course of action would be to call Virgin and navigate to thinking of leaving, this will tend to get you to retentions and they can run tests on your line and equipment.  If they are unable to resolve the issue then they can arrange of an engineers visit.

Option 1 then 4 then 5 should get you through to retentions

Lines are open Mon to Fri 8am-9pm, Sat 8am-8pm, Sun 8am-6pm

Thanks for the tip Michaeldavis.

As you said, Turns out it was a problem I could not solve.

i got through 150 and virgin sent  an engineer.

so far so good - prob seems to have been resolved.
