Upgraded this morning to maxit tv and still waiting for the channels to appear. I have refreshed on both the tivo and v6 boxes but nothing
Any other ideas to try. Call centre can't get through

Why is this so difficult to manage

Did you do the upgrade by phone or online? If it was done online, it may take a few days to be actioned on your account.
You can refresh your EPG by following Home > Help & Settings > Help > TV Care > I'm missing some channels

Also, you don’t say the entirety of your upgrade, saying Maxit in one post and Cinema and Sports in another.
Is there any hardware involved, as channel upgrades won’t occur until any new hardware is installed?
