Menu Blurry

Hi all,

The text in the menus on our TiVo Box is blurry but the TV picture itself is fine.

Has anyone else had this issue?

What is your video output set to in the settings menu on the V6?

Morning, It’s set to automatic. I’ve just noticed, whilst watching football, that the score is also blurry. But picture looks good. Very strange.

There is not an automatic setting - only set once automatically which often is not the best option.

If you are using a 4K tv I would suggestg only ticking 1080p and both 2160p settings.  If an HD tv than only select 1080p.

You are watching the HD channels?

I’ve just checked and we’ve only got 1080p selected. The  text is still blurry when highlighted whilst scrolling through the menus

Try 1080i only - I find 1080p is clear here so may be you need to try and amend some of the tv settings for that HDMI input.

Thanks Oz,


Just changed settings to 1080i but still the same blurry text. We’ve not changed TV or Sandy thing and it was fine last night.

All channels?  Sometimes a single channel may be lower qualify for a single live programme.

Yeah all channels, the main problem is in the menus and TV guide.

I'm sorry for our delayed response and to hear that the text isn't showing clearly on your Tivo box, this is rather odd if it only recently has started happening and no channels are affected.
